Essence of Bengal review

We have been to Essence of Bengal several times including a couple of Christmas works meals and more recently a group (12) went for a birthday meal.

Essence of Bengal have there own Parking for customers located at the side behind the restaurant. It's located in a busy area so if the car park is full then parking on the surrounding roads can be a challenge.

Essence of Bengal seems to have undergone a make over recently and the venue is crisp, clean and welcoming.

As a licensed restaurant you can't take your own drinks here.

Service has always been in point even in a larger group the service was good. I feel the food served at Essence of Bengal is quite spicy as standard. The food I feel is of a higher quality compared to other local restaurants.

I recently ordered a take away from Essence of Bengal and the food was just as good. Plenty of food, enough for the following day also.

Final thoughts

For me, it's not my go to sat night balti house but more of a let's make more of an effort for a nicer meal out evening and also has a slightly higher price point to match.

Would definitely recommend the Essence of Bengal.
