This dates back about 2 years after my first visit to the Balti Hut tandoori in Stirchley. I ordered a chicken tikka masala. Upon arrival the food looked exceptional, a deep red colour with a swirl of cream on the top, accompanied by boiled rice and nan bread. Ever since then I’ve ordered and tried chicken tikka masala from lots of restaurants but none even come close to the Balti Hut tandoori.

The challenge:

To find a better more enjoyable Chicken tikka masala than the one served at the Balti Hut. I personally believe that this Chicken Tikka masala is the best in Birmingham and the Midlands (possibly the UK) and challenge people to find a better one.

I have spoken to a number of people who have tried the Balti Huts chicken tikka masala and all agree that it is the best in Birmingham.

So all you curry and balti lovers out there get tasting and tell me who is, who will be crowned the best Chicken Tikka masala in 2004.
